Cervélo

Cervélo Cycles was founded in 1995 by Phil White and Gérard Vroomen. The goal of both engineers was: bringing their in hard work manufactured faster time travel bikes to the market. Already since 1986 they designed bicycles and muscle-powered vehicles. The turn came as an italian top cyclist charged Gérard Vroomen with the development of an as quickly as possible time travel bike.

Cervélo is worldwide the biggest manufacturer of time travel and triathlon bikes. In the last five years predominantly Cervélobikes won at the prestige Ironman on Hawaii. The overall winner of the Tour de France 2008, the winner of the Tour de France 2009 and the winner of the green jersey in 2010 at the street world championship in Peking drove Cervélo. At the Olympics in Peking from about 40 with Cervelo Bikes equiped olympic athletes three won a gold medal, five won a silver medal and two won a bronze medal - a record.
